--INTRODUCTION
Esperanza! A Woman's Hope is a community-based, multicultural outreach, which seeks to empower survivors of domestic violence (i.e.: spousal/partner violence) through a project targeted toward assisting battered survivors in transition with tuition funding assistance for job skills upgrade. This innovative, tuition funding/skills upgrade proposal has been designed with the purpose of creating enhanced financial security leading to economic autonomy for survivors of domestic violence within the state of Georgia. This program seeks to allocate one-hundred percent of funds contributed by individual donors and organizations toward assisting battered women in transition with job skills upgrade at the vo-tech, community college, and four-year academic levels.
