--CLASSIFICATION


As a recently incepted 501 (c.3), "Esperanza! A Woman's Hope, Inc." is designated as a public charity in the state of Georgia.

--PROGRAMS


Our programs emphasize scholarship awards to survivors of domestic violence (i.e.: spousal/partner violence), who are returning to school for job skills upgrade. We additionally offer supplementary mentoring, networking, and financial literacy programs to our scholarship awards recipients.

--STAFFING


We use qualified, dedicated volunteers to fulfill our staffing needs. Our community of volunteers consists of college interns and members of interested business, professional, and trade groups. Prior to selection, each volunteer is carefully screened.

--FUNDING


Through donations from public and private sectors, combined with income derived from fund raising activities, "Esperanza! A Woman's Hope" is able to grant tuition funding assistance to survivors of domestic violence (i.e.: spousal/partner violence), who are returning to school for job skills upgrade. This funding assistance will encompass tuition, books, and required materials/supplies.

--SPECIAL NEEDS FUNDING


"Special needs funding", including assistance for public transportation to-and-from classes, gasoline, and child care costs, while the recipient is in classes, will be additionally considered.

--ALLOCATION OF FUNDS


As a recently formed non-profit, we remain in our growth and development stage; however, we allocate one-hundred per cent of contributions toward assisting survivors of domestic violence (i.e.: spousal/partner violence) with funding assistance for tuition and related needs.
